What each stretch of the Valley asks for
Coastal trucks near Brownsville fight salt air, so we lean toward coated hardware and sealed connectors. Harlingen, at the crossroads, splits its miles between expressway and county lanes and gets both kinds of wear planned for. McAllen rigs are mostly city-driven, where tonneaus and covers land first, while Weslaco and La Feria lean on work and farm use that rewards bed protection and a guarded front end.
