Accessibility
RGV 4x4 wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on a screen reader, keyboard navigation, high contrast or larger text. This page explains what we aim for and how to…
How we build the site
The site is built to work from a keyboard as well as a mouse. Headings describe the section they open, text enlarges without breaking the layout and colours are chosen so words stay legible rather than pretty at legibility's expense. We aim at the widely used accessibility guidelines and review the site against them as it grows.
- Readable, describable headings on every page
- Text that enlarges without breaking layout
- Contrast that keeps text legible, not decorative
- Navigation that works from a keyboard alone
Images and text alternatives
The photos here carry descriptions so a screen reader can convey what they show to someone who cannot see them. A purely decorative image is marked so it is skipped rather than read out as noise. That matters on a site that leans on pictures to show finished fittings.
Forms and contact
The fitment form is built so every field has a label a screen reader can announce and a clear message when something is missed. If a form will not work with your setup, send your details however works for you and we will take it from there, because no one should be shut out by a form.
Tell us if something is hard
If any part of this site is difficult to use, we want to hear it. Name the page and what happened, and we will look and fix it where we can. Accessibility is not a one-off task, and a report from a real visitor is the most useful feedback we get.
Standards we check against
We test the site against the widely used web accessibility guidelines, covering contrast, keyboard use and text alternatives for images. Anything short of that gets treated as a fault and corrected. Standards shift over time, so the work continues rather than closes, and a visitor's report is the fastest way to find what we missed.
- Checked against common accessibility guidelines
- Contrast, keyboard and alt text covered
- Ongoing, not a one-time pass
Help with our services
If the website gives you trouble, or you need information another way, contact us through the form and say what would help. We will work with you so you can get a fitment answer, book a fitting and understand what your truck needs, with the website out of the way.
